The Zonta Club of Pascagoula Area implemented a major Fundraiser in 1977 called the Zonta Arts & Crafts Festival and is always on the lst Saturday of October in the Downtown Plaza of Pascagoula. This Fundraiser generates funds to support Community Service Projects that include: Home of Grace for Women & Children * Contingency Fund for the Deaf * MGCCC New Horizons Contingency Fund * Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship * Literacy Support & Z-Club Scholarships * Louise Black Scholarship * Nursing Home Projects * Domestic Violence Center * Rhonda Crane Shelter * Jackson County Cancer Chapter * Holiday Gifts for Needy * Advocacy for Women * Young Women in College Child Care Support * S.O.A.R. Reading Program * Gulf Coast Children's Home for Young Ladies * Ms. Girls State * Jackson County Explosion of Excellence Scholarships.
