International President's goals and approach to Service and Advocacy for 2008-2010 with all Zontians in our respective districts. President Beryl recognizes that trafficking is a popular issue for advocacy, but she has urged clubs and Districts NOT to neglect our other issues affecting women such as "health (and FGM); education (equal access to all programs and levels of education); economic (access to earning an income; equal pay); political (the right to stand for election and the encouragement and equal opportunity to do so); and legal (changing laws to protect/enhance women's rights and freedoms; getting governments to enact laws where necessary)."
