YWPA District Winner
We received thirteen applications from the clubs in District 11. From these outstanding young women, the committee voted and we are pleased to announce that Gabriela Brown, from the Zonta Club of Tallahassee is this year's District winner.

64th District Conference
October 4 - 6, 2012
We had a very successful conference in the Heart of Dixie, Montgomery, Alabama. Participants had opportunities to attend informative workshops, take part in worthwhile service projects, contribute to District fundraisers and hear from inspiring speakers. 25 of the District's 42 clubs were in attendance, represented overall by 95 Zontians.

D11 Zontian Nola Theiss (of the Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva) will be 1 of 4 speakers at a ZI event at the CSW/NGO Forum held in conjunction with the UN Commission of Status of Women, titled "NGO Roles in Advocacy and Service to End Trafficking in Persons" in New York City. Nola will be speaking about human trafficking in the U.S.

Zonta International Convention
The 2014 Zonta International Convention will be held June 27 - July 1, 2014 at the Orlando World Center Marriott, Orlando, FL. At Internation Convention, Zontians can experience the camaraderie of Zontians around the world while gaining valuable Zonta International experience and see the installation of incoming District Governor. As the host District of the 2014 International Convention we want to encourage and invite Zontians from around the world to our District 11!
